President's Report

We’re happy to introduce Stephanie Noren, newly selected to support Marketing & Communications for the national NAHMMA organization. 

Who is Stephanie?

Stephanie comes to us with a background in waste management, familiarity with NAHMMA, and an enthusiasm to help increase NAHMMA’s brand and member offerings. Stephanie’s skills and experience include:

  • Over 8 years in the waste industry including City of Spokane’s Solid Waste Management Department and Cascadia Consulting Group

  • Developing and managing marketing communications including blog posts, articles, email campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials

  • Graphic design and document formatting including brochures, infographics, presentations, reports, and flyers

What will Stephanie be working on?

Stephanie will work directly under the supervision of the NAHMMA Executive Committee, and in collaboration with the Communications and Membership Committees. She’ll also work with some of you, NAHMMA’s Regional Chapters, on supporting your chapter marketing efforts. Some of her tasks include:

  • General promotion of NAHMMA’s national brand including email campaigns, keeping our website current, and writing content for blogs and our social media accounts

  • Updating current marketing materials to reflect NAHMMA’s new logo, brand, and website

  • Seeking award and press for national and regional NAHMMA programs and members

  • Supporting membership by increasing understanding and access to member benefits with webinar how-tos, surveys, and check-ins with Regional Chapters
